In 2010, a decision was taken to renovate the church and the necessary permits were obtained. Joint work began in 2016 in order to increase the average number of visitors and with the help of the project management company Regional Consulting & Management SA, design Linea SRL, respectively technical assistance V&V Project S.R.L, the project “Rehabilitation-restoration of the Dalnic Reformed Church” was implemented, obtaining European funds through the Regional Operational Programme 2014 – 2020, Priority Axis 5 – Improvement of the urban environment and conservation, protection and sustainable use of cultural heritage, Investment Priority 5.1 – Conservation, protection, promotion and development of natural and cultural heritage. On 15 December 2017, the financing contract no. 835 was signed with the Ministry of Regional Development, Public Administration and European Funds (current name: Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration) as Managing Authority and the Regional Development Agency Centru as Intermediate Body, and on 02 October 2019, following the competitive procurement procedure, the rehabilitation works contract was signed with the construction company Baumeister SRL. The works started on 26 October 2019, and on 5 October 2021 the reformed church was handed over. The deadline for completion of the project is 30 November 2021.

The general objective of the project is to increase the average annual number of visitors to the Dalnic Reformed Church in the municipality of Dalnic, by enhancing the value of the heritage site, thus also contributing to increasing the competitiveness of the region.
Specific objectives:
- Enhance the value of the Dalnic Reformed Church by rehabilitating the church in order to fully integrate it into the tourist circuit.
- To increase the accessibility of the Dalnic Reformed Church among all categories of tourists
- Promoting the project and the tourist offer of the Dalnic Reformed Parish.
Project outcome: it is a restored, protected and preserved heritage site.

The total value of the project is 3,184,767.25 of which the total eligible value is 2,762,628.22, of which 2,301,269.30 lei EU contribution (ERDF), 406,106.35 lei national contribution.
